Background.

John is the co-founder and managing partner of Aegis Ventures, a New York-based venture studio that partners with entrepreneurs and industry leaders to build transformative companies that improve patient outcomes, reduce healthcare inequalities, and transform how health tech is innovated and deployed. Under Beadle’s intrepid leadership, Aegis Ventures creates AI companies that address healthcare's most challenging quality, access, and cost issues.

John learned about the importance of health care at an early age, carrying that passion to Harvard College, where he focused on public-private partnerships with an emphasis on health policy, and then to Schwarzman Scholars, a Master's fellowship program created by Blackstone CEO Steve Schwarzman. John's focus and expertise, in partnership with Bill Schoenfeld, Founder/Chairman of the APL Group, led to Aegis Ventures' creation. Outside of Aegis, John leads a special situations investment team at APL, tasked with overseeing the launch and operationalization of multiple new business lines.

John was instrumental in orchestrating Aegis's $100 million partnership with Northwell Health, one of the nation's largest health systems, to create Ascertain, a first-of-its-kind company creation platform. John and long-time mentor, former Dun & Bradstreet CEO Tom Manning, co-lead the JV’s day-to-day executive functions.
